CAMP REPORT
A Health Camp was held in the school premises on 09.01.2010 at Singarijan Village under CSR Scheme of NEC and Coal India Mahila Samaj. The Camp was held at distance of 6 Kms. From Tirap Open Cast and within 2 Kms of the newly up coming Lekhapani Open Case Project. The Camp was inaugurated by Chief General Manager, Shri A.K. Bora who insisted that the CSR Projects in that area was going on satisfactorily, but more could be done.

A total of 183 cases were examined of which youngest patient was 6 (six) months old and oldest claimed to be more than 90. The major diseases found were worm infestation running nose in children, anemia, hyperacidity and GERD in adults. Few of the elderly patients mostly ladies complaints of low backache, 2 children both brothers aged 8 and 12, were diagnosed as VSD (hole in the heart). They could not get the children treated because their poor financial condition. Arrangements in both the children to be operated at Delhi using help of another NGO was done. In course of the Camp no disease or symptoms which could be caused by mining activity or air pollution was detected.
